Hey there, you just found my website. So here is more about me. =)
I received my Ph.D. in February 2017 from the Department of Computer Science at the University of Manitoba.
Before that, I obtained my Bachelor of Computer Science (Honours) degree with a Co-op option in 2010 and went on to complete my Master of Science degree in 2012 from the same university.
Currently, I am an associate professor in the Department of Computer Science at the University of Northern British Columbia.
Big Data and Artificial Intelligence are my current primary research focuses. More specific topics include Artificial Neural Networks, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Association Rule Mining, Frequent Pattern Mining, Social Network Mining, Natural Language Processing, Sentiment Analysis, and Big Data Visualization. Aside from my primary research topics, I also have research interests in Database Systems and Human-Computer Interaction.
